The subject line of this blog entry pretty much sums up how I felt when I finally received the call that my Xbox 360 was in for pick up. All it took was a month of calling everyday, going to Best Buy checking if they had any in stock, and the constant convincing to myself I can wait. Probably what irked me the most was the whole 'Pre-order' BS & the 'manufactured' demand.
Ironically, I didn't even install it until 5 days after I picked it up. Perhaps the joy of getting the new toy was tarnished because of the tacked on waiting period. But noneoftheless, the new system is hooked up and ready roll. So far I'm really impressed with the new Xbox Live set-up. Lots of new features like downloading new content for games, streaming upcoming movie trailers and the cool gamercard feature. That's the big honking thing in the sidebar of my blog. It tracks what games I own, my gamer rep and stats.
I'm happy with the new addition to the Lee household. And the wait was well worth it...I guess.
