Summ3r Movi3s

The summer season of movies kicked off when Spiderman 3 was released in early May. After Spidey 3; we've had two more sequels released to the biggest movie franchises to date. And the summer of sequels doesn't end with just those three. There's Rush Hour 3, Fantastic Four 2, Die Hard 4, Hostel 2, Ocean's 13...etc.

Ok from a business standpoint, if you have a sucessful product and people are willing to pay for it; you milk it. But big business comes at the expense of originality. I don't recall the last time we went to the movies and saw something brand new.

So far we've seen Spider Man 3 & Shrek 3 (both dissapointments). We're planning on seeing a few more of the films mentioned and probably be dissapointed yet again. So Hollywood's diabolical summer movie business plan is working on us.

Damn you.
