Mo' Money. Mo' Problems.


A few months ago the Mrs. and I switched wireless carriers when our contract came to an end with Sprint. So I did my homework on various carriers and we finally settled on Verizon. When I made my purchase for the phone I have now I was told there was a $50 rebate. So I signed us up and got brand new spanking phones plus $50 rebates...yee haw!

It's been 3 months and I've yet to receive anything.


So I went back to the store to see what the heck was going on with my rebate. They told me to call the rebate center who said my phone was ineligible for a rebate. Then they tell me to go back to the store to see if they can resolve this. The store tells me to call the rebate center again. I was getting the classic 'runaround'. So about a month ago I spoke with the head manager of the store and he reassured me everything was 'all set' and I would be getting a $50 credit to my account.

Another month pasts and I've yet to receive
anything.

So what now? The head manager is supposed to call me tomorrow to try and explain to my why I'm not getting $50 rebate. And it's reached a point where the $50 isn't even freaking worth it anymore. But I'm not the type to let them off the hook that easy after Verizon has yanked me around for this long. So we'll see what Mr. head manager says to me tomorrow and good luck to him in trying to calm me down.
